This KFC Tray That Doubles As a Keyboard So You Can Keep Texting While You Eat Just Revolutionized Fast Food

Tech Times - KFC Germany has released the Tray Typer, which looks to help customers keep their smartphone screens clean while eating the food chain’s famous fried chicken. The Tray Typer is a rechargeable, super-thin Bluetooth keyboard that KFC gives its customers on the tray that serves the ordered food. The idea is that customers will connect the keyboard with their smartphones so that they can use it to continue typing on their devices without leaving behind residues from their greasy fingers on their screens.

Kentucky Fried Chicken changing the game. First they used fried chicken as buns, and now you can eat that delicacy as you type away on your trey to text your friends how fat you are. What a life. It’s only in Germany right now, but this is going to be HUGE in the United States. You know why? Because right now, only poor people sit inside and eat at fast food restaurants. The rest of us with things like direct deposit and IRA’s and college degrees go through the drive thru (Side note- eating the food in the parking lot of said fast food establishment is a great move). But you know how McDonalds is always trying to class their joints up a bit, offering salads and fruit smoothies and the like? I could totally see them getting this tray. Besides McDonalds who wants to be  a casual restaurant in the worst way but won’t be, based on my extensive fast food knowledge, this has Chipotle/5 Guys written all over it. Places like that where people actually go and sit, this is perfect for. Definitely going to be on the lookout for these in the near future.
