Tommy Stats NFL Week 2: Chiefs Streaks, Pats As Road Dogs, And More

Welcome back to the lab. Every Sunday morning during this NFL season, I'll be blogging the stats and trends that I presented on Barstool Sports Advisors, plus some additional ones that I didn't get to use. These stats are a mixture of ones I've found across various websites, and also some just through my own research from pouring through the data. 

Below is my entire cheat sheet I use for Advisors each week. Lines courtesy of the Barstool Sportsbook, subject to change from the time I compiled this. 

Atlanta Falcons (0-1, 0-1 ATS) @ Dallas Cowboys (0-1, 0-1 ATS)

-This is the Cowboys first home opener not against the Giants since 2014

-Atlanta is 9-17 ATS on the road since 2017, second worst mark in football (Jets are worse of course)

Los Angeles Rams (1-0, 1-0 ATS) @ Philadelphia Eagles (0-1, 0-1 ATS)

-Under Sean McVay, The Rams are 7-2 ATS in 1 PM EST start times

-The Rams are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 September games

-The Eagles are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 September games

-The under has hit in 7 straight and 17 of 22 Eagles home games

Kansas City Chiefs (1-0, 1-0 ATS) @ Los Angeles Chargers (1-0, 0-0-1 ATS)

KC -8.5

-The Chargers have been this big of an underdog at home since November 28, 1998, when they were +13.5 against the Broncos

-Chiefs are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 September games

-Chiefs are 10-3 ATS in last 13 vs. the Chargers

-Chiefs are 23-4 ATS in last 27 against AFC West teams

Baltimore Ravens (1-0, 1-0 ATS) vs. Houston Texans (0-1, 0-1 ATS)

-You might think that this is a big number for the Ravens to cover on the road, but they were 6.5 point or better favorites on the road 4 times last year, they covered all 4 and won those games by an average of 27 points

-For a pro-Houston stat, the Texans are 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 games following an ATS loss

New England Patriots (1-0, 1-0 ATS) vs. Seattle Seahawks (1-0, 1-0 ATS)

8:20 PM on NBC

SEA -4

T 45

-Seattle is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games

-Since 2010, the Pats are 10-3 ATS as a road dog
