If you would have told me in the year 2015 that a Bloodsport Mentos video was going to steal the internet for the day, I would have laughed in your face. I dont even know how or why people make these things. You’re just randomly watching Bloodsport on a Sunday afternoon almost 30 years after it came out and realize this random scene with JCVD running away from the bad guys fits perfectly with a Mentos commercial? And then bingo bango its up on youtube? The Internet is a glorious place.

And for any 90s kid you’ll get to relive 2 of the best parts of that decade with this video. First and foremost is Jean Claude Van Damme. What a fucking superstar that guy was. I feel like he just made the same movie about 13 times. JCVD in a South East Asia fight-to-the-death tournament was made at least 11 times. Lionblood Boxer. And that movie where he was being hunted like an animal? Universal Soldier? His role as M. Bison? The list goes on.

And in a weird way JCVD was just like Mentos. Kinda weird and you didn’t really understand them and every time you saw them on TV it was completely preposterous but you liked them.
