If only they made soccer nets bigger, ya know? It's really hard to score on those things. Many players have tried and failed worse than this guy. He had no room for error. Nothing to be ashamed of. 

The only thing this reminds me of is the infamous Patrik Stefan blunder. But at least in Stefan's defense, the puck hit some bad ice and jumped over his stick, so it's not entirely his fault. Still a ridiculous sequence nonetheless.
