Kevin Durant, A Known Baby Back Bitch, Says He Didn't Want 'To Be The Savior Of The Knicks And King Of New York'

[Source] - "I didn't want to be the savior of the Knicks or New York," Durant said, per Bleacher Report. "I didn't care about being the king of New York. That never really moved me. I didn't care about being on Broadway. I just wanted to play ball and go to the crib and chill. And that's what Brooklyn embodied."

Listen, I've defended Kevin Durant from everything from having a burner, his Twitter and going at fans and shit, even when he joined the Warriors. But this? This is why people call him a baby back bitch. No other way around it. 'Oh you didn't care about being the king of New York. That never really moved you? Then why is there this quote contradicting what you said on JJ Redick's podcast:

Just say you hate James Dolan. If you said that I'd defend you, even as a Knicks fan. But the whole 'don't want to be King of New York' not only are you admitting the Nets really don't matter in New York, but you just are saying you can't take being the man. I'm OUT on wanting Kevin Durant on my team - strictly because of this. I don't care if when healthy you're a clear top-3 player in the league, I need a man who wants to be King of New York. I need a dude who wants to save the Knicks. That's why we're backing RJ Barrett. Fuck, that sounds depressing saying it out loud. I can't even spin that one.

You know what, this actually makes it easier to accept Durant not picking the Knicks. He can't handle saving a franchise. He doesn't want to be king. Give me a guy who wants to save the franchise. Give me a couple good players. I'm not asking for much really. Still wish he said 'fuck James Dolan' though.
