Welcome to our daily fantasy segment where I give you an inside look at my picks and though process for trying to get rich playing DraftKings. Didn’t get a chance to play yesterday because of a graduation, which might actually end up being a blessing in disguise. Chance to clear my head after a bit of rough stretch, haven’t cashed in a tournament in like 6 days. But to quote baseball legend Kenny Powers, a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies.

With that in mind, on to tonight’s picks, which, if recent history is any indication, 50% will hit and 50% will go 0-fer.

Watch the weather report in this one closer to game time, but if there’s no threat of a rain out, I got a gut feeling A Rod goes deep tonight. Love this little weirdo steroid juicehead this season.

OF Kyle Blanks $4.1K

What? Who are you? I think this is one of those dudes that you’ve never heard of unless you’re a hardcore daily fantasy baseball player. That’s good because he’ll probably fly under the radar tonight facing off against Bruce Chen. Here’s all I need to know about Bruce Chen – he costs $4K on DraftKings. If the pitcher costs less than the batter you’re picking to go against him…play him.

He doesn’t play every day which I guess is why his price is so obscenely low, but if he is locked into the lineup he’s basically an auto play.
