Remember When Paul Pierce Hit That Clutch 3 With 8 Seconds Left And Turned To The Hawks Bench And Said "Series"? That Was Awesome!

Oh man that was so awesome last night when Pierce hit that game winning shot with 8 seconds left. And then we find out he turned to the Hawks bench and said “Series”. Just like when he didn’t call glass, he called game. Love it. What a great story and great end to the game to go up 3-2 on the Hawks.

Oh wait.

Two things here:

1) Why is Gortat not out there? Insanity. Pure insanity. When I talk about Wittman and bad coaching decisions, this is one of them. Makes less than zero sense not to sub in Gortat.

2) Fucking Nene. He’s already a lazy defender. A minute earlier he threw a line drive at the backboard instead of laying it in for whatever reason. And then he just gets completely bodied being clumsy on the most important rebound of the season. Yes, Nene was sort of boxing out two people because of Wittman’s bad coaching decision, but you HAVE to get that rebound. You have to go up and get it and stay firm and get that ball when you have that position, not get worked by Horford.
