With A Little Love And Some Tenderness, Hootie And The Blowfish Sang "Hold My Hand" On Letterman Last Night And It Was Just As Great As Ever

There might not be a better job in the world than being one of the  other members of Hootie. A band I’d compare it to is Maroon 5. Lead singer is world-famous, and nobody on Earth can name any other member. But you know the other guys are rich as all hell. Bit different for the guys in each band now though- In Maroon 5 you get Adam Levines hand-me-down models and sloppy seconds, but still have to tour and record new songs. When you’re one of the other guys in Hootie, sure you’re a bit older, but you’re not doing any work. Just sitting around cashing Hold My Hand and Let Her Cry checks. Then Hootie decides to play a few gigs and you cash another 6 fig paycheck. And last night on Letterman, they sounded outstanding. Haven’t missed a beat.
