On this day way back in 1305 the 13 Scottish Nobles all vying for British favor and the right to call themselves King of Scotland tricked William Wallace and the English arrested him near Glasgow. SMH. The story of William Wallace is WILDLY misrepresented in the movie, but it is one of those things that I wish I never knew so I am not going to tell you guys because I don't want the movie to be ruined for you the next time it comes on AMC on a Saturday morning when you're hungover.
