Micah Parsons Has Opted Out Of The 2020 CFB Season

Micah Parsons is the second player to opt out today and third future 1st rounder to opt out for this season (Caleb Farley).

This is a massive loss for Penn State. Micah Parsons was arguably going to be the best defensive player in the nation. 

Can’t blame the guy for not wanting to take a risk for what is going to look and feel like a quasi-season.

How many more players are going to opt out? I say at least 5 more. The big questions will be Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields. I don’t think they’ll opt out, but it wouldn’t shock me if they do. 

I’m at around 50% confidence we even have a season, so these players opting out may not even matter.
