Lou Williams Said He Thought He Just Did What Was Routine - 'Frequenting That Place 5:30, 6 In The Afternoon' When He Went To Magic City For Wings

[Source] - "It's been documented how much I talk about this place, how much I eat there," said Williams, who missed the Clippers' first two games of the NBA restart. "I just did something that was routine for me. I frequent that place at that time of day, 5:30, 6 in the afternoon.

"At the time, I thought I was making a responsible decision. After looking back on it, with everything going on in the world, the pandemic, maybe it wasn't the best-quality decision. I chalk it up as that, take my L and keep moving."

You can call Lou Williams numerous things. You can call him Lou Will, Underground GOAT, Lemon Pepper Lou, but the one thing you can't call him is a liar. The man LOVES and I mean he fucking LOVES Magic City wings. He was just going there to pick up dinner after an emotional funeral. Look at that quote again. He thought he was just doing something that was routine for him. Hit up Magic City around 5:30, 6 in the afternoon. That's how you know he's there for the wings. Nobody is hitting up the strip club at 5:30 for the talent at 5:30. No, you're there for the delicious, delicious wings.

The man spoke though. He said what he had to say and we can all move along about just how ridiculous this storyline has been. Again, it's been talked about quite a bit but no one has done a better marketing job than Lou Will did for Magic City. No one outside of Atlanta talked about the wings before the last couple of weeks. Now? It's all people think about whenever the Clippers are on.

Some of us sit down at the kitchen table and eat whatever is cooked for us as the TV is on or some music is playing. We all have dinner routines. Lou Will's daily routine is hitting up Magic City at 5:30, 6 and honestly, it's one of my favorite things about him now.
