(Source) — How much could a weekend sail with the Kennedys and dinner at their famed compound cost? As much as $38,800. Ethel Kennedy, Massachusetts Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy III and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have sent out invites for a weekend “filled with politics, picnicking, sailing and friends” in Hyannis Port, starting with cocktails at Ethel’s home on June 13, then dinner at the former home of President John F. Kennedy hosted by Kiki and Ted Kennedy Jr. The next day, guests will sail at 10:30 a.m. Admission starts at $38,800 for five tickets for cocktails, dinner and the sail, down to $10,800 for two tickets for drinks and dinner (sorry, no sailing). Proceeds go to Joe Kennedy’s re-election war chest.

If I had the kind of money to be flying out to Vegas or, say, something like the Kentucky Derby I’d 100% do this instead. Party with the Kennedys in Hyannis Port? That’s the jump-off. I don’t care that it’s a political fundraiser, the Kennedy Compound is like Vegas or a Chuck E Cheese, it’s always jumping off. Doesn’t matter if it’s Joe’s war chest refilling or Jack bringing a bunch of whores back to fuck, they do it right. You get me access to the Kennedy Compound and I guarantee within two hours I’m in some secret room doing blow off medieval armor with Ethel. That’s not opinion, that’s fact.
