Playstation 4 Controllers Will Work On A Playstation 5, Just Not With PS5 Games...Wait, What?

source - Sony announced that the DualShock 4 controller will work on PS5, but not with the new system's games. The reasoning behind it, according to the company, is that "PS5 games should take advantage of the new capabilities and features we’re bringing to the platform."

Backwards compatibility for the (almost) win!  Look, I don't know why people are really getting their panties in a twist about this. Even though I get off on using a Gamecube controller while drifting dick off on the Switch, I get it.  Every new console has newer controllers in which, unless you're hardcore bootlegging your PS5, comes with said newer controllers. It's just how Sony chooses to propagandize this action saying Playstation 4 controllers will work on your Playstation 5...but not really.  Hey, at least the PS5 looks the part, right?  RIGHT???

I'm a big it doesn't matter what it looks like as long as under the hood is cooking correctly, but not sure those wing things are really necessary.  In fact, it's probably almost a guarantee till they inevitably crack off and slice someone's Achilles wide open. Nevertheless, under the hood still looks like it'll be cooking.
