Oh No...A Justin Beeber Cameo In Zoolander 2 Has Been Confirmed By Ben Stiller

NBC Washington - The “Zoolander 2″ cast keeps getting bigger. Ben Stiller confirmed that Justin Bieber will make a cameo in the long-awaited sequel. The actor, who reprises his role as male model Derek Zoolander, did his best “blue steel” during a pose-off with the pop star on Instagram Tuesday. Stiller didn’t provide further context, writing, ” #Zoolander2 @justinbieber.”

You guys know why this is bad right, and it has nothing to do with Beeber. It has to do with cameos in general. It just screams that terrible, awful movie Anchorman 2 at me. Cameos left and right without any substance. It scares me. I can’t have Zoolander 2 being messed up by pointless cameos. That’s what bad sequels do- they load up with shitty cameos and generate buzz that way. This could be a bad sign. But in their defense, the original Zoolander had a few cameos like Paris Hilton and David Bowie and it worked well. So while I’m not thrilled about this news, I’m taking it with a grain of salt.
