Don't get me wrong, it's an incredibly effective form to prevent the spread of germs and disease, it's why all Chinese buffets are thought of as having top tier cleanliness, because the sneeze guard prevents anything gross from ever happening to your food. Really, it's a brilliant way to keep all the players healthy. 

As long as they don't get up, step around the plexiglass, and go play football with each other. Then it might be less successful.
