2020 is the year of bad news. Everywhere you look it's just nonstop pain. Increases in cases one place, lockdowns returning in another. There aren't even sports to take our minds off of it. That's until this week, and after another round of testing by the NHL, NBA, and MLS, it appears their restart plans are working out just fine.

NBA:

0 cases out of 346 players! ZERO! That's great news.

NHL:

2 cases out of just 2619 tests? I'm not a mathematician but that's a positive rate of 0.07%!

MLS:

0 for 1,114!!!! ZERO!!

(I do have to note that two teams had to withdraw from their restart due to COVID)

MLB:

Overall:

IN the latest round of testing in the MLB, NHL, MLS, and NBA:

Tests: 14536

Positives: 8

Positive Rate: 0.05%
