Pro-Tip To Pilots: Always Deploy The Landing Gear Before Attempting To Land

We talk about Day 1 stuff a lot around here but that’s gotta be first minute of Day 1 stuff there.  Before trying to land the plane, always deploy the landing gear so you don’t go skidding across the runway like some kind of noob.  The process of which people have to go through to get a pilot’s license might want to be reevaluated after that video.  We can’t just have dudes flying planes around who don’t remember to deploy the landing gear.  That doesn’t seem safe.  I don’t ask for much from people who fly planes in their spare time but putting out the wheels to land happens to be one of my criteria.  People who fly planes as a hobby are lunatics anyway.  My life goal is to spend as little amount of time on a plane as possible.  Not to mention it feels like a plane goes down every other day now.
