SEC West Champs! Gus Duggerton, LSU Clinch Ticket to Atlanta After Second Half Surge Over Arkansas

Gus Duggerton and the LSU Tigers are heading to tomorrow night's SEC Title Game! With a 49-28 win over Arkansas, Coach Duggs and company are off to Atlanta.

After coming out to a hot start in the majority of the games this season, that was not the case in Fayetteville today. Lil John Leblanc struggled out of the gate.

But as the game went on, we saw Heisman candidate Cam Sandwich take the game over. Touchdown, after touchdown, after touchdown, etc...

The pivotal point of this game occurred midway through the third quarter. With the game tied at 21, the Duggs D came up in a huge way.

With the game all but over, LSU had one last chance to reach the 50 mark. Kicker PFT Commenter had a chance, but could not get the job done (This was partly my fault. Hand up.)

As we mentioned off the top, next up for Duggs and the Tigers is Kentucky at the Georgia Dome. A spot in the BCS National Title Game is on the line, as America's Coach looks to return to the promised land during his last dance (time TBD). We'll see you then.
