NHL Training Camps officially open TODAY. Every day there seems to be new bad news regarding covid-19 and the NHL continues to plug along and taking steps towards opening the playoffs on August 1st. Maybe it's my own bias, but it's the only league I trust to get things right and give us sports for a period of time when we DESPERATELY need it. It's going to be great. 6 games a day for a month. Sure, it took the NHL expanding to 24 teams, but the league got almost all of the teams that make the playoffs better in the playoffs. Chicago, Boston, Philly, Montreal, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, Rangers, McDavid, the Blues, the Avs, Vancouver. I can't wait. Here is just a little taste to celebrate phase 3, which feels like the first real step.
