Petr Yan Is The NEW Bantamweight Champion After Hitting Jose Aldo With 1000 Unanswered Shots In A Row

YIIIIIIKES! Talk about tough to watch! Fuck!

Petr Yan and Jose Aldo just put on a truly PHENOMENAL five-round back and forth bantamweight contest that unfortunately ended in Jose eating about a trillion unncessary shots on the ground, which'll undoubtedly be the narrative leaving this one. I have NO IDEA what the referee was doing not stepping in and stopping it towards the end there. 

I mean, I truly have no idea what he was waiting for in the final minute of that fight. It reminded me a little of when Luke Rockhold just pummmmmmmelled on Chris Weidman for minutes at UFC 194. Finish aside, though, it was a fucking awesome scrap. 

I can't wait for Yan vs Aljamain Sterling. That fight is gonna be TREMENDOUS. Congrats to the new champ!
