The Cowboys Tight Ends Coach Is a Lunatic, Has His Players Wearing Bags Over Their Heads and Is Dumping Ice Water On Them During Drills

Cowboys - What to watch: Mike Pope’s drills. The Cowboys’ new tight ends coach has been using some unorthodox teaching methods. He’s doused his players with water during one drill when they went jersey-less with no pads. He has had them wear laundry bags on their heads. On another occasion, he had Jason Witten toss a ball in the air, receive a pass from Pope, and catch the ball that was originally thrown in the air. What will Pope do next? Whatever he chooses, it will likely be unconventional.

How bout them Cowboys! America’s team! Hasn’t done jack shit for 20 years, just gave Tony Romo a 500 million dollar contract, and have CFL rejects, a truck driver, and leftover halloween candy starting on defense. But hey, at least their tight ends will be able to catch passes with ice water being dumped on their heads. BOOM! Bet no other NFL team will be able to say that, now will they? We can hate on the Cowboys all we want, but I don’t see any of the Redskins tight ends tying plastic bags around their faces so when they need to make that big 4th quarter 4th and 2 grab while nearly suffocating, they’ll be prepared. Shit. Shaking in my shoes over here. The Cowboys just reinvented training camp. It’s now their Super Bowl to lose.
