Pocono 325 (3:30 PM) Betting Card

Last Race: Dega was as fun as anticipated. We finished 3-2 on matchups for a gain of 0.6 units. In our prop bets, we went 2-1 for a gain of 3.8 units. I don't count those towards my record, but hopefully, you took one or two of those bets and cashed in!

Today, we are at The Tricky Triangle at Pocono Raceway. This is the first race of two this weekend.

Denny Hamlin -110 vs. Martin Truex Jr.: Pocono is an intermediate track (2.5 miles), a type of raceway that has not been kind to Truex Jr. in the past. Over his last 6 races at intermediate tracks that are 2.5 miles, his average finish is 20.17, which is 25th among cup series drivers! He has won at Pocono before, but his average finish is 15th in his 28 races here. Compare that to Denny Hamlin, who has finished an average of 11th in his 28 races. Hamlin won here last July and I could see him winning this race today.

Brad Keselowski -110 vs. Martin Truex Jr.: Another fade of Truex Jr. here. Keselowski has been great at Pocono over his last 6 races here. If you take out his accident in July 2018, his worst finish in his last 9 races at Pocono is 8th, the other 7 are within the top 5! Among current drivers, Keselowski is the 3rd best at intermediate (2.5 miles) raceways as well.

Erik Jones -125 vs. Joey Logano: I love Erik Jones today. I am also putting a half unit on him to finish in the top 5. His last three finishes at Pocono are 5th, 3rd, and 2nd. Logano has never finished above 7th at Pocono.

William Byron +110 vs. Kurt Busch: Byron has raced Pocono 4 times, each start resulted in a finish inside the top 10 along with 3 top finishes. Kurt Busch hasn't been great here or at 2.5 mile-intermediate tracks. His average finish is in the 15 range.

Clint Bowyer +100 vs. Aric Almirola: In his 15 starts at Pocono, Aric Almirola has had an average finish of 23.75. Even since he went over to Stewart-Haas racing, his average finish has been 13.5. Clint's finishes in that timeframe has been 11.75. In his 42 starts at 2.5-mile intermediate tracks, Clint ranks 10th among recent drivers in average finish, Almirola ranks 24th.

Once we cash in on Bowyer today, think about throwing down some of that COIN on this merch:

Ryan Newman +110 vs. Matt Dibenedetto

Erik Jones +250 To Finish Top 5 (0.5 Unit)

Other (+3.8 units)

I don't count these towards the record. Just suggestions.

Erik Jones 16/1 To Win

William Byron +300 To Finish Top 5
