The Wizards Unvieled a New Logo and Are Now Completely Done Having Anything To Do With Wizards (Only Have To Change The Name Now)

Finally, the Wizards no longer have anything to do with any Wizard looking logo, at all.

They started out with this

Which if you’re going to be called the Wizards, isn’t the worst logo. Notice the “W” which is also his shirt/cloak thing. Could be worse. Then they rebranded to red, white and blue, and adopted this

Which they never really even used for anything because it just looks weird.

Since they’ve become red, white, and blue they’ve basically just used DC and the old bullets lettering as their branding, which is about 10000000 times better than anything Wizards.

And now finally, they have a primary logo which uses the name Wizards but doesn’t suck at the same time. Was a long time coming, but I think they finally got it right. Not sure why they want to keep the name Wizards though. I guess it’s sort of like the Utah Jazz at this point– pointless name, but people are just used to saying it so they keep it around. And that’s pretty much all it is, as no logo is ever going to feature anything having to do with a “wizard” ever again. As much as I would love for them to go back to the Bullets, it will never happen. But thankfully Wizards has become more of just a sound, and not their identity.
