Listen, I’m all for tricking kids into doing stupid things and putting it on video.  It has to be one of the only fun things about being a parent I would imagine.  But this?  THIS?  THAT SCENE?  The scene where Mufasa dies and it’s the saddest thing ever?  Fuck you dude.  Seriously.  Any scene but that scene.  You can see the exact moment it hits her.  I just went on YouTube and re-watched it and now my week is completely ruined.  I’m 26 and all I wanna do is cry right now.  That’s the most brutal Disney scene there is.  It has everything that’s awful about life. Betrayal, death, loneliness, sadness, everything.  But hey yeah, let’s film my daughter watching it so a bunch of people on the internet can watch her go through it.  When she came over and sat on his lap did he quietly whisper into her ear, “Ya know, I’m gonna die one day too”?  Probably.  Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go cry into a pillow and pretend nobody around me is ever gonna die.
