Madden '21 Trailer Leaks And It Actually Looks Like A Somewhat Different Game For Once

SN - EA Sports released its "Madden NFL 21" official reveal trailer, and we learned a lot about the new game.  The trailer focuses heavily on Lamar Jackson, which makes sense considering he's the cover athlete. But it also lets us in on a few key gamplay elements the Madden team has been working on this offseason. We'll through them all individually below, but it seems as if EA Sports is really making an effort to give the gamer more customized control than ever before.  The Madden 21 release date is August 25, 2020. At the end of the trailer, EA Sports says the game is available then, which adds up because video games are typically released on Tuesdays. However, if you have EA Access, Origin Access or Origin Access Premier, then you can play three days earlier on August 22, 2020. The trailer also says if you preorder Madden, you'll be eligible to play three days earlier.

Hmmm.  Interesting.  More customized control than ever before so herbs like Brandon Walker won't simply rely on the AI to play defense and make the plays? Don't hate it! We've gotten virtually the same exact Madden game for well over a decade. Nice to see them try something different and put the pressure more on the game player rather than the actual gameplay. Regardless, come August 22, 2020, we'll be sure to have many more moments on and off the gridiron like in years past...such as:
