A Sea Of Red With A Picture Perfect Background

I'm not huge on random anniversary blogs. Feel those are way, way overdone. But today there are a ton of Caps parade pictures on my timeline. 2 years ago, the greatest run of my lifetime ended with a beautiful parade on a gorgeous day in Washington. It was such a happy day- everyone still flying high from actually winning the Cup. Strangers, pre-covid, high fiving, drinking beers on the National Mall, all having a good time and watching the Cup parade down the streets of DC.

And DC is such a picture-perfect backdrop for a parade. The history and monuments, the sea of red that covered the city, it was just awesome. Here are a few more of my favorite pictures from that day:

And of course the best picture of all, because…well…if you don't remember….

Nothing like a perfect picture with your "I Eat Ass" sign prominently displayed. Btw, how do I get that photo framed on my wall? It's beautiful.

Good memories, great times. I wrote a bunch of my memories down because I'm worried I'm going to forget everything when I get older. I suggest everyone does that, to be honest. It was a great time to be a part of, and I hope we can do it again one day.

And take us home, boys.
