Patrice Bergeron And Tuukka Rask Star In The New "GoPro On the Ice" Episode

I love these NHL GoPro “episodes”/commercials. I also love Patrice Bergeron and Tuukka Rask. But kind of an odd choice for this, no? Let’s grab two of the most fundamentally sound hockey players in the NHL and use them to display how exciting our cameras are! It’s like getting Tim Duncan to do one for basketball. All the other episodes/commercials have been the likes of Oshie, Kane, Seguin, etc. Guys who are dazzling on the ice. I can’t stress enough how much I love Bergy and Rask, but that’s just not their game. Must have been hell to be the director for this thing.

Ok Tuuk, do something awesome!

Hmmm. OK. Patrice how ’bout you do something then! What about a stupefying dangle?!

Eh. Why don’t we get a couple guys out here and I’ll win a defensive zone faceoff  then kill a 5 on one power play?

I appreciate the good people at GoPro getting some Bruins in on the marketing but until GoPros can capture heart, determination and fundamentals maybe just put a camera on a puck and let Zdeno break the sound barrier with it.
