40th Anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back
Thursday marks 40 years since the Empire Strikes Back was released in theaters. There was no internet back then, so fans wanting to hear interactive promotional had to dial a 1-800 number and listen to pre-recorded messages from the stars of the movie in character talking about the upcoming film. Here are those recorded messages from C3PO (Anthony Daniels), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), and Dark Vader (James Earl Jones) along with their outtakes. This is pure Star Wars gold. The Leia outtakes are especially hilarious.
