Cotton Bowl, New Home(?): The Season IV Finale of the Gus Duggerton Story Takes Place TONIGHT

Welcome to Cotton Bowl Tuesday. Tonight, first-year Head Coach Gus Duggerton has the chance to put the icing on the cake on Texas Tech's complete 180 on the 2016 season. The big man took over a squad that went just 2-10 a season ago, and at 9-3 right now, a chance to get double-digit wins would be nothing short of remarkable.

But it's not going to be easy. The (17) Red Raiders take on the (9) Texas A&M Aggies live from Dallas (9 PM ET). Coach Duggs has NOT fared well vs. fellow teams from the "Lone Star State." In fact, two of TTU's three losses this season have come against in-state rivals (Baylor and TCU), along with a win vs. Texas. 

There are many folks questioning the level of focus Coach Duggs has been taking heading into tonight. This is because immediately when the game ends, the journeyman will find his new home, or, of course, stay in Lubbock. But sources tell me that is a long shot.
