Couple things of note on this map.

1. People really love Kobe Bryant, like a little too much. Nevada I get, even Oregon, but why the hell does Wisconsin and Ohio and Tennessee like Kobe? What the hell is their deal? Also is Kobe even considered a throwback? I know it’s his old number but he still technically is alive and playing.

2. Walter Payton makes perfect sense for Illinois. Originally I would have guessed MJ but no matter what happens the Bears will always be bigger in this city and state and well, we all know the lore surrounding the ’85 Bears especially.

3. Joe Namath in Iowa makes zero sense. Trent will have to explain that one to us.

4. Love Arkansas rocking the throwback Bo Jackson White Sox jersey, that’s an absolute classic.

5. The fact that Vince Carter has not 1 but 2 states with his Raptors jersey is pretty sweet, that’s an all time jersey. If you didn’t get caught up Vinsanity as a kid then you were never a kid.
