Horns Down: Texas Tech Beats (21) Texas, Moves to 4-2
Tonight's game between (21) Texas and Texas Tech may not fall in the "instant classic" category of the Coach Duggs era, but the big fella did all that matters in Lubbock this evening: win.
Don't look now, but just three days after a shocking loss to Baylor, the Red Raiders (4-2, 2-1) are now winners of two games in a row. And with tonight's mild upset over the No. 21 Longhorns, a 36-21 final, half of Coach Duggs' wins this season have come over ranked teams.
Texas Tech was once again very successful out of the gate, and really couldn't mess things up when the Red Raiders got closer to the end zone:

But when it mattered most, the FB Angle gods decided to reward Coach Duggs for being so loyal to them. And this TD came in a very clutch moment.
The nail in the coffin for the Longhorns came thanks to the Texas Tech... DEFENSE?! /enter Breaking Bad "You're god damn right" GIF.
Coach Duggs then put together a flawless, time-killing drive to finish things off, mainly thanks to Ricky "Cheeks" Squeaks. The TTU season is now halfway over, and the back end begins tomorrow night vs. Kansas State. Watch it here (time TBD):
