Holy. Shit. Antetokounmpo Actually Announced He's Leaving Milwaukee And Playing Somewhere Else

[Source] - Alex Antetokounmpo, who graduated from Dominican High School in Wisconsin, told EuroHoops.net of his plans Saturday. He had reportedly received offers to play at DePaul, Ohio and Green Bay.

"I am examining my options. I have a few choices from the States, but I have decided to play in Europe," he told the website. "I want to become a pro as soon as possible. I was born and raised in Europe, I know European basketball, and the best thing for me would be to sign a contract with a European club. I will have to train and compete against grown men, I will experience strong competition and pressure, and I will evolve on every level."

Just utterly shocking news out of Wisconsin. Antekounmpo is actually leaving the state to go play elsewhere. I simply can't believe it. Now sure it might be Alex, the youngest brother in the family. But my point still stands. You clicked, which is the game here.

Needless to say we know the plan here right? He's going to go play in Greece for a year. Then the Bucks will sign him to a two-way deal or on their G League to try and keep Giannis around. That's 100% the plan. If Giannis wants his brother on the Bucks, even in the slightest bit, they have to make it happen.

I love how every single prospect like this is now just linked to DePaul. They are the definition of a shooters shoot program. Oh you have a bloodline to an NBA player? Here's an offer. You're the No. 1 prospect as an 8th grader? Here's an offer. One of these days it will pay off. I'm kind of surprised some bigger names haven't offered him just for the hell of it.

I want nothing more than people to talk about how this is a sign that Giannis is leaving the Bucks. Need it to happen. Get the photoshops ready.
