Northern Iowa Player Almost Killed By A Massive Dunk But It Didn't Count

TAKE THE CHARGE!  TAKE IT!

That’s gotta feel good.  Well, not actually.  I bet it hurts.  But it’s really the only defense you have on a huge dunk like that.  “Alright, I’m gonna step in here, get nuts put on my chin and hope the referee makes a subjective call in my favor so it doesn’t look as bad on SportsCenter later.”  And it worked!  Dude gave up his body and took the charge.  What else is he gonna do?  Try and block the dunk?  That’s a How-To guide on getting put on a poster.  Do the white boy thing, step in, close your eyes and hope for the best.  Still got fucking slammed on though.

PS- Not sure how, if you’re a ref, you call any dunk like that a charge.  It might be the right call but damn.  I’d be the only ref in history to have zero charge calls on monster dunks.  It could be a blatant charge and I’d still be like, “BOOM!  Blocking foul and 1!  You got faced, sucker!”
