We're Here, The Best 4 Days Of The Calendar Year....

We’re here, we made it, it’s tourney day and if you’re a male in America it’s one of the best days of the year every single year. For the record I combine these 4 days into one day because that’s really what it is. Come Sunday night you’re going to be a shell of yourself. Body hurts even though you did zero physical activity, eyes hurt from staring at screens, heart hurts from eating and drinking, wallet hurts from losing all your money, but none of it will matter because it will all have been worth it. If I had to rank the Top 5 sports “days” on the calendar it goes like this.

5. Kentucky Derby Day (Usually a big fight, always NHL and NBA playoffs)

4. Thanksgiving Day

3. Wild Card Weekend

2. Super Bowl Sunday

1. Tourney Day

If I did BCS style voting for these 5 days though, all the votes would go to Tourney Day. Just nothing like it. These are the days I feel bad for the rest of the world. The days that I thank God that I am American. The days that I try to slow down time so that I can soak it all in. So just remember that, think about where you are right this second, try to take a moment before the Madness begins, because these are the days it is great to be alive.

These are also the days that I try to convince myself I’ve changed and I’ll only bet a few games and then I black out, take the entire board and lose my bankroll in 4 hours. Still wouldn’t change a thing.
