Bears Decline Mitchell Trubisky's 5th Year Option

We obviously knew this was going to happen so this is blog is more of a formality much like the decision itself. Couldn't afford to give him somewhere around $24 million dollars in 2021 given what we've seen from him thus far. What happens from here all depends on how he does this year obviously. If he plays well then he might be back. If he doesn't then he's gone. It's that simple and that's all there really is to it.
