It's the Blackhawks vs Capitals in DC for the 2015 Winter Classic

Well there we have it. I’ll be drinking Big Cat’s tears come January 1st. By that time the Caps should be settled into first place with new coach Barry Trotz at the wheel, and I’m not counting out Ovi having 40 goals by then. Then the Blackhawks will roll into town, and the Caps will win their 2nd Winter Classic. Couldn’t plan it any better if I tried.

As for where it will be held, let’s just say anywhere besides FedEx is the move. Literally anywhere. Play it in a sewer and it’ll be better. RFK is a dump too so the only logical place is Nats Park. People will be chirping about it being on the Mall but it won’t be on the Mall even though that would be pretty cool, it’s probably a 1% chance because logistically it makes no sense.
