'You're Fucking Kevin Durant.' - Draymond With The MOST Self-Aware Statement, Saying He Would Have Been Traded If KD Really Wanted To Be A Warrior

Talk about self-awareness. I didn't expect that out of Draymond Green. I fully expected him to go with well Kevin moved on because Kevin wanted to move on yada, yada, yada. But we're in quarantine and Draymond doesn't hold back typically so we got this. And you know what? 

He's right.

If Kevin Durant really wanted to be a Warrior and play with Steph/Klay all he had to do was say 'you know I'm not feeling it with Draymond it's a me or him scenario.' You know what else? Draymond is right. Bob Meyers would have traded Draymond so fast in order to keep Kevin Durant. We're talking about a top-2 player in the league! Draymond fits with what the Warriors do and the whole small ball, space and pace situation. But he's getting his ass shipped out if Durant wanted that. 

Draymond also does bring up a good point at the end. He has stayed relatively quiet on this but that's what makes Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes so damn good. They have this former player connection and can get guys to be dead honest. We've seen so much content come out of their podcast because of that.

I could only imagine the narratives if Draymond got traded. It would have been an all-time day on Twitter with memes, gifs, conspiracy theories, quotes, etc. It's a bit upsetting we didn't get that. But again, all Durant had to do was say I'm here long term if you can trade Draymond. He knew before the season what his plan was, that would have given them ample time to trade him. Instead there was the elephant in the room all year. It was a will he stay or go and then fuck, even Draymond got suspended for getting into it with Durant. 

I did laugh out loud with Draymond just understanding he has nothing when it comes to Durant and the pecking order. Self-awareness is a huge pro now for Draymond. That's up there for the most self-aware comment we'll hear all year.
