Its Fitzmagic Time!

Well looks like the Jets have successfully recreated the juggernaut that was the 2010-2012 Buffalo Bills! We’re like a Buffalo Bills Voltron. All the pieces of those teams coming together. Chan Gailey’s offense is the body and now the Amish Rifle forms the head.

All jokes aside about Chan Gailey’s time in Buffalo, the fact of the matter is Fitzpatrick peaked under Gailey and knows his system well. If he can recreate any of the success he had with Gailey in 2012 he’ll be light years ahead of Geno Smith. If he can flourish again, maybe it allows them to draft a QB and let him sit. Maybe its just to be there for games when Geno has 3 picks on 4 passes. Maybe its just a precursor of more moves to come. Mikey Mac and his new regime have been aggressive and hungry and theres no reason to believe they’re gonna stop here. I think its a FANTASTIC sign that this new regime isnt handing things to Geno. Hopefully it means the realize he is flat out not the answer and someone like Fitzpatrick is a more reliable interim option. All I know now is that the Jets are makin moves and trying to get shit done. You can only take what the market gives you, and theres only so many quarterbacks available and they are making the best of it. It isnt anything to celebrate over but its intriguing to watch what the Jets are doing. Shaking things up and getting creative and trying to make a plan come to fruition rather than just sitting back with a thumb up their ass. Its a sign of things to come hopefully.

Fitzmagic is also smart as fuck, has an awesome beard, his kid can do math fast as shit, and he wears his wedding ring when he plays. Why’s that important? Well it displays a sense of loyalty thereby balancing out the mercenary vibe from Revis.
