DM – Since 1980, rates of chlamydia in the US have soared compared to Europe.

And while the number of Americans with gonorrhea has declined since 1980, the figure for the US still eclipses rates of its European counterparts.

Washington D.C., shown in the diagrams under its former name of the District of Columbia, had the most syphilis, HIV and gonorrhea, while Kentucky was the state with the highest rates of hepatitis. Peak rates of gonorrhea in the capital were more than three times higher than the peak rate among the other 50 states.

Meanwhile, Estonia tops the European scale for HIV rates, Russia sits in the top five for the most HPV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV.

USA! USA! USA! Yes, in theory, this shouldn’t be something to be proud of. But lately the US has not exactly been dominating on the global stage as much as I’d like so frankly you have to take all the victories you can get. We should for sure be wrapping up better as one of the most developed nations in the globe but I think there’s something to be said for having all the medical advancements and education about sex and still recklessly disregarding it in exchange for three slightly more satisfying minutes of banging. Like yeah thanks science for making this magic latex cock armor that prevents disease, pregnancy, and the rampant outbreaks of cooties but I’m cool with bareback life. Such a perfectly American stance, short-sighted, impulsive, and beautiful in its ignorance. That’s who were are. Time to just own it.

Hell of a showing by DC. People must have seen Nate’s performance in the Barstool Dog Show and just been so turned on that they couldn’t keep from recklessly fucking each others’ brains out.
