Video: Roof Packed With People Collapses At Cal Poly St. Patrick's Party

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (KABC) Eight people were injured when the roof of an outbuilding collapsed during a pre-St. Patrick’s Day block party near Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Saturday.

The party, which had at least 1,500 attendees, began early Saturday morning and was still ongoing when fire crews responded to the incident in the 300 block of Hathway Avenue at about 6:21 a.m.

Running out of beer, someone puking on the dance floor, the roof you’re standing on collapsing as the building beneath you crumbles and disintegrates.  All things that will ruin your party 100 times out of 100.

Seems like everyone is ok, a few people getting treated for injuries.  Once we get the all-clear that nobody is seriously hurt we can start the process of wondering who the fuck thought it was a good idea to cram 100 people onto the roof of that shanty.
