I run up to him. I’m in awe, of course, a young kid. And he said, ‘I just wanted to come by and show you some love.’ I think he said something about them trippin’ at the front, or something like that. But he’s like, ‘I just wanted to come by and show you some love. Congratulations on getting drafted.’ And I was just like, ‘Man, thank you for coming.’ I couldn’t believe it. ‘Thank you for coming. You want to come in?’ And he’s like, ‘Nah, nah, we good. I just came by to show you some love.’ And he rode off on his motorcycle.”
Quick question here - how the FUCK do you not let Michael Jordan into any establishment in Chicago? Who was running security here? If you're familiar with Wade at all, at this time a guy that was just drafted after a surprise run at Marquette, you HAVE to know Jordan.
I swear there are new MJ stories coming out a few times a week now. I also promise I'm going to read every single one. MJ has reached the territory where I'm going to 100% believe anything that's said about him. Why not? There's pretty much a story for any situation involving MJ.
The most shocking thing here though might be that MJ showed up with 50 people, not that he was denied entry. Jordan was someone who had a close group of people he trusted - mostly Ahmad Rashad. Who was in this group of 50? Why was he riding a MJ? I have so many questions that I need answered and need to see. I still can't believe someone didn't let Jordan into an establishment in Chicago. Like I said, that man should be able to show up anywhere at any point in that city and be allowed in. I don't care if it's 3am or 3pm. MJ is the face of Chicago. He gave you six goddamn titles. Denying him entrance into Wade's party? Yikes. That security guy had to have moved from Chicago now.
