Tennessee Revolutionizes the Recruiting Game By Making Sure Dave Portnoy Has Big Vol Energy

I would love to know what FBS football programs are doing to continue recruiting efforts during this unprecedented time in society when coaches obviously can't travel to visit any high school players for the foreseeable future. Well, we know what at least one school is doing, because the Tennessee Volunteers are taking advantage of the most viral recruiting opportunity any school could by participating in The Unboxing IX tonight.

Every other program in the SEC is kicking itself that they didn't have the big brains that my folks in Knoxville did to get in on this type of marketing opportunity that no other school — other than Army, shoutout to the troops — has had. Y'all can keep sending out your photoshops with every kid you're recruiting on the cover of an NCAA Football video game which doesn't exist; we're gonna be front and center in front of tens of thousands of people on Dave's Instagram. Think of how many recruits are going to see that.
