Here's an absolutely raw, ruthless, grungey, rock n' roll, but somehow beautiful performance of Nirvana's 'Lithium' at the height of their fame at the Reading Festival in 1992. Hearing that crowd sing along as loud as they do puts chills on my arms every single time. Kurt had them in the palm of his hands.
For anyone confused as to who the random dude jumping around and dancing on stage is - that is the band's friend Antony Hodgkinson - lovingly nicknamed: "Dancing Tony". He would just tag along on certain road trips with Nirvana and dance on stage while they played. Seriously - I'm not makin that up. People loved it, though! Shoutout Dancing Tony.
