The Waffalo Sandwich Is Here

So my man Steve Novak…not that Steve Novak…joined Twitter the other day after my post about creating your own fantasy foods. I mentioned the Doritos Locos Tacos and the Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwich. My creation was the Waffalo Sandwich. A buffalo chicken sandwich served on full-waffle-sized waffle fries instead of a standard bun. Served with both blue cheese – for the chicken – and ranch – for the fries. Well Steve owns a restaurant in South Jersey and made it a reality for me. He assures me although it looks like normal Eggo waffle, but it is 100% light, crispy potato fries. 

You can get the KFC Waffalo Sandwich at the Grilled Cheese & Crab Cake Company in Somers Point, NJ. If you’re going to the Atlantic City Foam Blackout on July 20th, its just 15 minutes south of there. Black the fuck out at Barstool’s biggest event of all time and on your way home swoop down to Grilled Cheese and Crab Cake Co. for the KFC Waffalo Sandwich.

Always wanted to have a sandwich named after me. Thats one thing I would love to proudly check off my Bucket List. Problem is, you can’t go name a chicken sandwich with the initials KFC.
