I never thought the remake would ever see the light of day, let alone during a time where we are literally being ordered to stay inside and avoid human contact, which is something I obviously excelled in during my first run through of FFVII. Name a group of people having a better day than diehard Final Fantasy VII fans. You can't.

So either give yourself a refresher/spoiler of everything that happens in perhaps the greatest RPG of all-time with an absolute banger of a soundtrack by watching the video above or don't because you want to see the story unfold in what will likely be roughly $300 worth of purchases over the next decade for other parts of the game since today's release is just the Midgar section of the game because of the massive undertaking it took to remake this classic as well as good old fashion capitalism.
