Seahawks Cornerback Jeremy Lane Says Gronk Isn't Even Good.... Ooookayyyyyyy

RENTON, Wash. — Seattle Seahawks starting nickel cornerback Jeremy Lane paused for a moment Thursday when asked what makes New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski so good, because Lane disagrees.”I actually don’t think he’s that good,” Lane said. “He’s OK. He does have a big body. But from what I’ve seen on tape, he doesn’t like you putting your hands on him. So if we put our hands on him and shake him up a little bit, he won’t catch that many balls.”

Honestly, I’m not even going to respond to this. Don’t feed the trolls. I’m just going to say that this isn’t even a good troll job. Jeremy Lane has to take notes from Stephen A and Skip, if he’s going to say something dumb it has to be REMOTELY believable. But, nonetheless, with everything that’s going on this game might be a blowout. The line in Vegas should be like -1000. We’ve got Sherman saying Brady isn’t the golden boy, Lane saying Gronk is trash, the whole country saying we’re cheaters. We’ve got the us against the world mentality and enough bulletin board material to fill a billboard on 95. Can’t wait until there’s another controversy after the Super Bowl and everybody is saying “Did Belichick run the score on the Seahawks? Why is he so mean?!?” Graveyards are littered with the bones of Anthony Smith, Freddie Mitchell and anyone the Pats faced in 2007 following Spygate (except for whoever lalalallala I can’t hear you). Seattle might want to pick a plot.

Editors Note – Hey Jeremy Lane if you see the guy in the tuxedo walking to you on media day I suggest you walk the other way.
