I just finished High Fidelity and strongly recommend it. 10 episodes, 30 minutes each, easy watch and entertaining as hell. The Feitelberg special, as critics call it. Aside from the enjoyment, I had two main takeaways.
1. Vinyls are awesome. I was buying those things like they were toilet paper. I must've bought 5 vinyls a night watching this show, most of them bands I've never heard of but they sold them at Championship Vinyl so they gotta be good. I'm flatout addicted to buying vinyl records now. I never really knew John Prine's music but last night when I saw he passed I bought four of them just because he looks like a guy who sounds good on vinyl.
2. Zoe Kravitz is a PROBLEM. This always happens to me, when I see an action movie with a male lead my personality becomes largely the main character and when I see a drama with a female lead my heart belongs to her. I mean, she's some love at first sight shit in this. Obviously, her looks, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet ain't exactly gonna make an ugly kid. But her personality? Ohhhhh her personality. She's a beautiful disaster. She's cool, stylish, and so sad. The Feitelberg special, as critics call it.
