Shaquile O'Neal: Hall of Famer, NBA MVP, 4x NBA Champ, Not A Friend Of Joe Exotic - I Repeat NOT A FRIEND OF JOE EXOTIC

[TMZ] - "I was just a visitor. I met this guy. Not my friend. Don’t know him. Never had any business dealings with him, and I had no idea any of that stuff was going on," Shaq said.

"People that know me know that I'm righteous. I don't harm tigers. I lover tigers."

"We found out that he’s involved with all the stuff, and then, actually, I stopped going.”

Alright let's settle this right away. Shaq is not a friend of Joe Exotic. Not today, not yesterday, not tomorrow. Now you may be asking why are we talking about Shaq and Joe Exotic? Besides the fact that if you put Tiger King in any sort of headline right now, pageviews go through the roof (apparently, I'm guessing here). Second because Tiger King is fucking everywhere including Shaq's past with Joe Exotic:

Problematic to say the least. Especially true in this day of age when you want cancel everyone for anything. Shaq even admitted he donated money to feed the tigers and apparently bought two tigers, although he says he doesn't own tigers at his house. Shaq said the moment he found out about the real Joe Exotic he stopped it all. I don't know how you can blame him for anything here.

I don't know about you, but I already can't wait for Charles Barkley to roast Shaq about this. It will 100% happen as they start getting carried away making fun of each other as Ernie Johnson gives up trying to control the room. It also means we'll have sports again and that's the glimmer of hope I'm waiting for.

Of all the bizarre shit so far in 2020, never did I think that Shaq would be caught in a controversy because of a guy who goes by Joe Exotic and a Netflix documentary. What the fuck are we living in?
