Confession time: the NFL has bored me this year. I still watch, and intently watch Pats games, but aside from that the TV is background noise the rest of Sunday. It’s on, but I’m not captivated by it. Same goes for hockey pre-first snow of the year. It’ll be on, and I’ll watch, but I’ll also get distracted very easily. But this? 4 minutes of mind numbing carnage? Oh, I was all in. Dudes bouncing off trees, the ground dealing out concussions, limbs flying all over the place. It was non-stop action. I’m not saying it could get the same amount of viewers for CBS as a Sunday game, but I’m not saying it wouldn’t either.
