Grant Ament Is Taking His Talents To The PLL And Came On The Crease Dive To Discuss

The biggest news in lacrosse this week is that Grant Ament will not be returning to Penn State for a 6th year. Tommy Boy went to Marquette for 7 years and I'd say that turned out pretty well for him in the end, but Ament was ready to take his talents to the pro level even with the NCAA kinda sorta saying that spring sport athletes will be granted an extra year of eligibility after their seasons were cut short this month.

This sick bastard set an NCAA record for most assists in a season last year and led Penn State to their first trip to Championship Weekend. He was on pace to do pretty much the exact same thing again this year so obviously it sucks for college lacrosse fans to know he won't be back at Happy Valley next season. But the CEO of the Shake Shack hopped on the podcast this week to talk about his decision to move on from college lacrosse, as well as what he's been up to during quarantine and what's up next.

By the way, Ament and some other DI studs are going to be leading a virtual 5K called #LastShift2020 with the HeadStrong Foundation on April 6th. All proceeds go towards financial, residential, and emotional support to families affected by cancer in the Philadelphia area. You can register/donate here
